No candidate ever exactly aligns with our own positions. I supported Obama and I'm glad he won. However, these are two big issues that I, and very possibly you, my friend, disagree wholeheartedly with Obama on.
Dear President-Elect Obama,
1) Do not, do not, DO NOT pull completely out of Iraq.
2) Reform, don't nationalize healthcare. (This is why I voted no on California ballot initiative 3).
So, Obamacons, Libertarians, moderate Democrats - these two issues should central to our dealings with, and advice to, the Obama administration.
